Pipe Freezing

Pipe Freezing is as simple as it sounds. Submerging a section of the pipeline in liquid nitrogen, which will make the liquid into a solid state.

We have held freezes for over 24hours with our day and night crew

Allowing works to be done without having to drain!

Pipe freezing can also be applied on a range of pipes, including but not limited to:

• Copper – lead – titanium
• Carbon steel – stainless steel – aluminum.
• Transite – Ductile and Cast Iron.
• Cement Lined and coated pipes.

Liquid that’s can be frozen are

• Water (Fire Hydrants, Condenser water lines, recycled/drinking water)
• Oils, Paints, Acids, Alcohol
• Glycol
• Sewerage

Our Capability on Pipe Freezing ranges from 15mm to 450mm
