Line Stopping

Line Stopping is usually used when pipe freezing is not an option due to flowing water.

After a Hot Tap, the line stop machine is bolted onto the valve where it enters the pipeline and blocks the flow of water using its rubber seal.

Unlike Pipe Freezing, pumps dont need to be shut off. The benefit of line stopping also is that a bypass can be done to keep the whole system live.
